When you submit, your details and files are sent to us to process your enquiry. To prepare the quotation we pass drawings on to selected manufacturing partners. Details in our privacy policy.

    What happens after you submit

    Confirmation of receipt

You receive an email confirming receipt, with the details you entered.

    Technical review

We check drawing, material, tolerances and quantities and get back to you within 24 hours (on working days) – with specific questions if anything is unclear.

    Quotations from factories

We request quotes from several suitable factories and compare price, tooling costs, lead time and inspection scope.

    Your quotation

You receive a quotation from a German GmbH with unit price, tooling costs, delivery terms and schedule – for simple parts with complete documents usually within 1–2 weeks; complex parts and assemblies may take longer.

    Confidentiality

We treat your drawings confidentially: before passing them on, we always remove your company name and logo, and we share them only with the factories needed for the quotation, which we bind to confidentiality. If you would like a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in advance, tick the box in the form – we will send you our template, draw up a customer-specific agreement or sign yours.

    What a good enquiry includes

Preparing a drawing and 3D model for an enquiry
Drawing as PDF and 3D model as STEP – so your enquiry can be processed quickly.

Ideally a 3D model (STEP) and a 2D drawing as PDF with tolerances, material and surface finish. Add annual volume, batch size and the required delivery date. You will find a detailed checklist in our guide How to prepare an enquiry for parts made to drawing.

Target price – welcome, but not required. If you have a target price, feel free to tell us with your enquiry. This lets the factories quote realistically and competitively from the start. In the Far East, the first quotation is usually understood as a serious price – substantial discounts afterwards are unusual there, because they suggest the first quote was inflated. A target price from the outset therefore usually leads to a good price faster than late renegotiation. Of course, you will still receive a quotation without a target price.
