About TOP Asia Technik – sourcing to drawing since 2011
TOP Asia Technik is a sourcing service provider from Jena for parts and assemblies made to customer drawings. Since 2011, we have organised manufacturing, quality assurance and logistics – mainly in China – for customers in machine and plant engineering, vehicle and commercial vehicle manufacturing including agricultural machinery, materials handling and equipment manufacturing.

TOP Asia Technik: who we are
TOP Asia Technik GmbH was founded in Jena in 2011. From the start, it was about one task: having technical parts made to drawing where it is economical – without the customer bearing the risk of a direct import.
It began with castings, machined parts and mechanical assemblies. Today, the range extends from steel, stainless steel, aluminium and ductile iron castings to sheet metal, plastic and rubber parts and complete welded and mechanical assemblies. About 95 % of this comes from China.
What has stayed the same: we do not manufacture ourselves; we organise the right manufacturing – and we vouch in Germany for the parts matching your drawing.
Our customers are buyers, design engineers, quality managers and managing directors of medium-sized manufacturers with recurring demand. We deliberately do not take on one-off parts, prototypes without series production or private orders – there, the effort of Far East sourcing does not match the benefit.

We are based in Jena, Thuringia – TOP Asia Technik GmbH

07743 Jena. From here, we manage enquiries, projects and complaints. Contract, invoice and contact person are German; manufacturing takes place wherever it best suits your part.
The mix is intentional: China for series with a high labour or tooling share, Europe for parts where proximity, flexibility or a second source matter more than the lowest unit price. We decide which source suits your part not by postcode, but by process, quantity and risk. In addition to a fixed pool of partner factories, our partners and local agents – in China, the UK and the Czech Republic – actively look for new suppliers when a part requires it. That is why we are very open regarding part types, sizes and materials.
China
Through our Chinese partner, we have access to a broad network of factories experienced in supplying the EU market. The partner assesses the factories’ quality systems and carries out checks during production. We have known many of the factories for years from projects and ongoing series.
Czech Republic
For parts that should come from the EU – for example because of short routes, smaller batches or as a second source – we work with partners in the Czech Republic. Factory visits are possible there by arrangement. More under Manufacturing in the Czech Republic.
United Kingdom
A further partner in the UK complements the network for selected manufacturing tasks and supports us with, among other things, reverse engineering.
What we stand for
Supply security
An order is only secure once the drawing is unambiguous, the factory suitable and the approval documented. We agree deadlines with the factory before we commit to them with you.
Quality you can verify
Correct material, dimensionally accurate, repeatable – backed by inspection plans, first article inspection reports (FAIR / EMPB) and series monitoring rather than promises. More under Quality.
Transparency
Quotations that show unit price, tooling and delivery terms separately. Clear responsibilities. And an honest answer if China is not the right choice for your part.

Many suppliers have worked with us for years. This brings well-established processes, short response times and stable prices – on both sides.

Understand
Drawing, quantities, target price, deadlines and risks – before any factory is approached.
Select the factory
Send enquiries to suitable factories, clarify technical questions, prepare a reliable quotation.
Safeguard
Samples, measurement reports, process approval and binding series parameters.
Deliver
Series production, inspection, schedule tracking and clear escalation in case of deviations.
Improve
Find cost levers, build up second sources, optimise packaging and logistics.
